Katy Sunshine Fest Sponsors
The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, they provide positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. They organize a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids receiving cancer treatments across North America. This allows the “kids” time to forget about their treatments, and to spend time with other cancer patients- knowing they are not alone in their fight. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene is a long-time sponsor of the Sunshine Kids. We were honored to present them a check for $50,000 as a result of our 2012 Katy Sunshine Fest event. Attendance was approximately 700 invited guests, and we were proud to raise more money than we did in 2011. Thanks again to all sponsors and attendees who continue to support this worthy cause! The date is set for this year’s event—April 6, 2013. We ask for continued support from our current sponsors and want to add many new sponsors as well. Sponsorship gives you prime exposure to a distinctive group of Katy’s current and future residents. Your donations go to a great cause- gaining you the recognition of backing such a wonderful organization. Most of us are touched, either through family or friends, with cancer success stories.
